Heia Raglangenser i Vams (Rauma 477)

Heia Raglangenser is a thick and super simple stockinette sweater with an oversized fit, a high folded neck and rib edges. It is knitted in the round from the top down. The neck is knitted first in rib, then the yoke in stockinette with increases at four points to form a classic raglan yoke. When the yoke is finished, the stitches are divided between body and sleeves, which are knitted separately in stockinette and finished with rib edges.

Techniques: cast on, knit, purl, left and right increases and decreases, backward loop cast-on, picking up stitches, binding off

Recommended needles: 4 mm and 5 mm (circular 40 and 80 cm, and DPNs)

Gauge: 16 sts in stockinette = 10 cm on the larger needle
