TERMS OF PURCHASE & RETURN POLICY
1. General
These terms apply to purchases made in the Maruchi Fibres webshop (maruchifibres.com). By completing a purchase you agree to these terms. Seller: Maruchi Fibres, Borrby, Sweden.
2. Right of Withdrawal - 14 days
You have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days of receiving your order, without giving any reason. This right is granted under the Swedish Distance Contracts Act (2005:59), which aligns with EU consumer law.
How to exercise your right of withdrawal:
- Notify us within 14 days via our withdrawal function in the webshop or by email: maria@maruchifibres.com
- Include your name, order number and a statement that you wish to withdraw
- Return the item in undamaged and unused condition within 14 days of notifying us
Return shipping:
Unless otherwise stated, the cost of return shipping is the customer's responsibility. We will always refund the original shipping fee you paid at the time of purchase.
Refund:
We will refund the item price and original shipping cost as soon as we have received and approved your return, and no later than within 14 days. If the item has been handled beyond what is necessary to assess it, we may deduct an amount corresponding to any reduction in value.
3. Exceptions to the Right of Withdrawal
The right of withdrawal does not apply to:
- Custom-made or personalised items
- Items with a broken protective seal
- Services that have been fully performed with your consent during the withdrawal period
- Event tickets and time-specific services (e.g. courses and workshops)
4. Uncollected Packages
If a package is not collected in time and is returned to us, we will deduct 199 SEK from your refund. This fee covers the costs of shipping, return handling and administration.
We always send tracking information when your package is ready for collection. It is the customer's responsibility to collect the package within the timeframe specified by the carrier.
Please note: Failing to collect a package does not constitute an exercise of the right of withdrawal.
5. Complaints & Defective Items
If an item is defective or damaged on delivery, you have the right to make a complaint under the Swedish Consumer Purchase Act. The right to complain is valid for three years. Please contact us as soon as possible, ideally within two months of discovering the fault:

- Describe the issue and attach a photo if possible
For approved complaints, we cover return shipping and will offer repair, replacement or a refund depending on the circumstances.
6. In-store Purchases - Open Purchase Policy
The statutory right of withdrawal does not apply to purchases made in our physical store in Borrby. We do however offer the following open purchase policy:
Days 1-30: Full refund
You may return an item within 30 days of purchase and receive a full refund to the original payment method.
Days 31-60: Gift card
From day 31 up to and including day 60 from the date of purchase, we offer an exchange for a gift card of equivalent value.
Conditions:
- A valid receipt must be presented
- The item must be unused and in its original condition
- Does not apply to patterns and printed materials
- Does not apply to sale items and discounted products
- Does not apply to opened tools and accessories
- Does not apply to course fees and event tickets
