Collection: Gepard Hør Silke

Hør Silke from Gepard Garn is a refined summer yarn blending French linen and wild tussah silk, spun into fine, lively threads with natural drape and a subtle, living lustre, perfect for creating light and elegant warm-weather knitwear.

What makes Hør Silke truly special is the quality of its raw materials: the linen is sourced from France, known for producing some of the world's finest flax, while the wild tussah silk adds a natural softness, flexibility, and gentle sheen that no synthetic alternative can replicate. Look closely at the skein and you'll notice the threads vary slightly in colour and thickness, that's the natural character of linen and silk, and what gives every finished piece its quiet, individual beauty.

Breathable, lightweight, and cooling against the skin, Hør Silke is ideal for summer tops, blouses, light cardigans, and accessories. After the first wash, the stitches settle into a smooth, fluid fabric with that unmistakable linen drape that only gets more beautiful with time.

Hør Silke combines natural luxury, Italian craftsmanship, and OEKO-TEX® certified sustainability, a perfect yarn for knitters who want to wear something that feels as good as it looks.

Washing & care: The first wash is key to unlocking Hør Silke's full beauty. Soak your finished piece in clean room-temperature water for approximately 24 hours, this is what creates that dreamy, fluid linen drape. Press dry in a towel and lay flat to dry. For all subsequent washes: machine or hand wash at 20–25°C, max 5 minutes, in a mesh laundry bag. Avoid spinning. Do not tumble dry.
