Unwanted noises from the hinges can occur. We therefore recommend that the hinges are greased with sewing machine oil or similar to prolong the life of the hinges. Wipe off excess oil and let the frame dry before sewing it into the clutch. Over time additional treatment of the hinges can be necessary.
