Collection: Fingering Yarn

Fingering yarn is a thin yarn that creates a smooth, lightweight fabric with excellent stitch definition, suitable for garments worn close to the skin. Often blended with nylon for durability in socks. Can be knit alone or held together with another yarn (e.g. mohair or silk) to add warmth or texture

Thicker than light fingering, thinner than sport weight.

A fingering yarn should have approximately 26-30 stitches per 10 cm when knitted up.

If you knit with two strands fingering together, it is approximately equivalent to DK yarn.
