Light fingering yarn is a lightweight yarn (slightly finer than standard fingering) typically used for delicate garments and accessories. It produces a fine fabric with good drape and stitch definition.
Lovely to combine with a lace thread such as silk mohair or Filcolana Alva to get a fabric with a little more body.
A light fingering yarn should have approximately 28-32 stitches per 10 cm when knitted up.
