Heia Tweedcape (Rauma 538)

Heia Tweedcape is a simple cape with a round yoke and edges in broad rib, finished with a small rolled edge. It is knitted with two different yarns held together, which gives lots of room for exciting colour play and a rustic tweed effect. The cape is knitted in the round from the top down – first the neck edge in rib, then the yoke in stockinette with increases, and finally the same rib edge at the bottom.

The Heia series is a collection of patterns designed for the brand-new knitter. No abbreviations are used, all techniques are described in extra detail, and you get good knitting tips along the way.

Yarn: Rauma Fivel + Rauma Alpakka Lin, one strand of each held together

Recommended needles: Circular needle 6 mm (80 and 40 cm) and 5 mm (40 cm)

Gauge: 14 sts in stockinette = 10 cm on the larger needle

Sizes: S/M (L/XL) 2XL/3XL
